Starbucks—My writing haven
☕ Behind the Scenes: Where the Words (and Pink Drinks) Happen
You know how some people have corner offices with sweeping views and ergonomic chairs? Yeah… I have a corner table at Starbucks and a not-so-ergonomic chair that squeaks every time I shift. But it’s mine.
This is my creative refuel station—my go-to spot when I need to shake off the house vibes, get out of my own head, and bribe my muse with a Pink Drink and a warmed-up croissant. Something about the hum of espresso machines and background chatter makes this the perfect place for eavesdropping—er, I mean writing dialogue.
26 miles from home - but OH SO WORTH IT!
My “local” Starbucks
I’m here at least once a week, plotting second chances, mysterious family trees, and late-blooming love stories that usually come with a splash of bourbon (fictionally speaking… mostly). There’s something comforting about working among strangers who are also chasing deadlines, dreams, and probably caffeine-induced survival.
Sometimes I write whole chapters. Sometimes I stare into my cup like it holds plot answers. Sometimes I just people-watch and imagine which one of them is secretly a retired spy or hiding a long-lost letter in their coat pocket.
But always—I leave with more than I came with. More words, more grit, more PINK.
So if you ever spot me hunched over a laptop, sipping something the color of bubblegum, surrounded by scribbled index cards and cookie crumbs—come say hi. Or don’t. I might be in the zone. But know this: this little coffee corner is where the magic brews.
